Sign of the Times: Macworld, the last of the major Macintosh magazines, is going to start covering Windows NT. Of course, it will only cover integrating Mac networks with NT ones, and Mac clients with NT servers, but it represents acceptance of the NT-centric reality that Microsoft is pushing for.

Sega's new game system may run Microsoft's Windows CE. If successful, this could herald in a new trend in the US that has been popular in Japan for years, inexpensive set top boxes that incorporate video game consoles and PC-type functionality. On the other hand, Windows CE has not been especially popular, and is not known for its technological merits.
