Apparently some people at IBM are pretty steamed at Ziff-Davis' claims that OS/2 is being put on the scrap heap. It seems that ZD might be having a little information problem. We'll have more info on friday.

Novell announced that it posted a profit for this quarter.

IBM announcd this week that it will begin shipping network computers. It is announcing a new unit, the Global Network Computer Services unit, to support this new venture. The NCs are based on 200 MHz PowerPC 603e processors and will come loaded with the Lotus eSuite Workplace, a Java-based suite of productivity applicaions.
