The Corel Netwinder Development Project web site is up. The Netwinder is a StrongARM-based Linux network computer with a suite of open source software.

Oracle's Network Computer Inc has struck a deal with several Japanese companies to provide software for WebTV-like functionality. This is being hailed as a big step forward for the ambitious company who has so far failed to make big inroads into the public conciousness.
